So far the tournament has been remarkable and we hope to see more jaw-braking moments before the tournament runs out.

Group A (Brazil and Mexico)
Brazil tops group A after winning two of their group stage matches and drawing 1 (against Mexico). Brazil tops the group with 6 points from three games, same as Mexico, but have a tremendous goal difference after scoring a lot of goals, all thanks to Neymar, and conceding just few goals. They have a goal difference of 5 while Mexico has 3.

Netherland has performed more than expected in this worldcup. With a FIFA ranking of above the 10th spot, Netherland trashed the defending champions 5 to 1 and continued with their winning spirit all through the remaining group stage matches. Nigeria heads into the round of 16 with confidence, they have one of the best goal keepers at the 2014  worldcup in Brazil and will hope to see more goals from their experienced forwards. They have to go as far as they can in the worldcup to prove they are indeed the African Champions.

Group G (Germany, U.S.A)
Germany tops group G after winning two of their matches and holding a 2-2 draw with Ghana. Portugal performed poorly in the tournament and has been eliminated. U. S. A. booked their place among the remaining 16 teams and will play against Belgium on June 1, a day after Germany Vs Algeria match.
