VICTOR MOSES (NIGERIA) THE MOST FEARED ATTACKER FROM AFRICA

Out of the 23 players the ‘Big Boss’ has called to Brazil, Young Victor Moses seems to be the main hope of Nigeria. He is among the players to watch out for in Brazil 2014. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria, the son of a Christian pastor. When he was 11, his parents were among thousands killed by rioters. A week later with his travel being paid for by relatives, Moses came to Britain as an asylum seeker.
He attended Stanley Technical High School (now known as the Harris Academy) in South Norwood Scouted playing football in the local Tandridge League for Cosmos 90 F.C., Crystal Palace approached him, with the club's Selhurst Park stadium just streets away from his school. Offered a place in the Eagles' academy, Palace recommended him to the fee-paying Whitgift School in Croydon, where former Arsenal and Chelsea star Collin Pates was coaching the school football team.
The Chelsea Winger currently on loan to Liverpool, He has a total of 21 goals in the EPL both for Chelsea and other clubs. Moses was named Man of the Match in the match against Manchester United in the League Cup, a game Chelsea won 5–4.
When asked who his toughest opponent was, LUKE SHAW of England said:
“That’s tough one but I’m going for Victor Moses, purely for his pace and power found it a very difficult test.” Same will be the answer of all good defenders if the same question is put forward to them! With such a player in our team I am sure the hopes of the team going far in the tournament are very much alive.
Victor Moses also scored the only goal for Nigeria in their friendly against U.S.A, spoiling Tim Howard's hopes of a clean sheet in his 100th international appearance with a late consolation from the penalty spot.
